Baron Samedi is the lwa most commonly used and my favorite one as well he is basically the god of death aka grim reaper along with Santisma Muerte he is your persona of death itself he is sarcastic and always drunk he has many aspects of himself the one I used most was Baron Kriminal aka Baron The Criminal he is you guessed it the patron of crime and criminals
I gave him offerings of rum, cigarettes and chocolate along with sweet bread and spicy chips or jerky
DONT FOEGET THE OFFERINGS
The lwa won't give you shit unless you give back so always offer something in return
Papa Legba:
Legba is a trickster and appears as either a horned demon with a huge penis or a young child he is normally seen as an old black man sitting in a corn field smoking a pipe I didn't work with him much but offer him pennies and he'll protect you from harm
